10/10/10: A Portal of Completion, Courage, and Rebirth
Closing One Story. Beginning Another.
There are moments in life when the ground shifts beneath us — not slowly, not gently, but all at once. Moments when the life we knew dissolves in front of us, and we are left standing in the quiet aftermath, trying to understand how everything changed without our permission.
For me, one of those moments happened three months ago.
After 23 years together — a lifetime of shared memories, routines, laughter, holidays, dreams, and the quiet comfort of partnership — my husband told me he didn’t love me anymore. There was no fight. No build‑up. No warning signs that made sense. Just a sentence that shattered the world I thought was stable beneath my feet.
And three nights ago, I learned he has begun seeing someone else.
There are no words that fully capture the feeling of that kind of heartbreak. It’s not just sadness. It’s not just shock. It’s a physical ache — a hollowing, a heaviness in the chest, a sense that your breath doesn’t reach all the way down anymore. It’s waking up in the morning and remembering all over again. It’s the silence in the house that used to feel peaceful but now feels too loud. It’s the way your hands shake when you try to write, because your story suddenly feels unfamiliar.
It is grief. It is betrayal. It is the death of a future you thought you were walking toward together.
And yet — today is 10/10/2026. A day that, in numerology, becomes 10/10/10. A triple portal of completion, release, and rebirth.
The number 10 is the end of a cycle. But it is also the beginning of a new one.
And today, I am choosing to step through that portal.
Not because the pain is gone. Not because I suddenly feel strong. But because I refuse to let this heartbreak define the rest of my life.
Today, I am closing the chapter that no longer serves my soul. Today, I am picking up the pen — my pen — and beginning a new story.
What It Really Feels Like to Begin Again
Starting over after heartbreak is not a clean, tidy process. It is messy. It is raw. It is full of moments where you feel brave followed by moments where you feel broken again.
Some days you feel hopeful. Some days you feel angry. Some days you feel nothing at all.
Healing is not linear — it is a spiral. You revisit the pain, but each time you rise a little higher.
There is no shame in grieving a life you loved. There is no weakness in missing someone who hurt you. There is no failure in needing time to rebuild.
But there is power in choosing yourself. There is strength in deciding that your story is not over. There is magic in recognising that you deserve a life filled with love — especially self‑love.
Today, on 10/10/10, I am choosing to honour the woman I was, release the woman I no longer need to be, and step into the woman I am becoming.
A Ritual for Releasing the Old Story
Reclaiming Your Heart. Reclaiming Your Pen.
This ritual is for anyone who has been carrying heartbreak, confusion, abandonment, betrayal, or grief. It is gentle, simple, and deeply symbolic.
You’ll need:
A candle (white for clarity, purple for healing, or pink for self‑love)
A journal or piece of paper
A pen that feels meaningful
A small bowl of water or salt
Steps:
Light your candle. Watch the flame. Let it represent your inner spark — the part of you that cannot be taken, broken, or dimmed.
Write your truth. On your paper, write everything you are releasing: the heartbreak, the unanswered questions, the betrayal, the loneliness, the fear of starting over. Don’t censor yourself. Let it pour out.
Speak your release. Say aloud: “I honour what was. I release what no longer serves my soul. I reclaim my story and write my next chapter with love, courage, and light.”
Fold the paper. Place it beside the candle. This symbolises laying the old story to rest.
Cleanse your heart. Dip your fingers into the water or touch the salt. Whisper: “I cleanse my heart. I open to new beginnings.”
Sit in stillness. Close your eyes. Imagine a soft silver light filling your chest — the same light you saw in your images. Imagine it expanding, warming, healing, strengthening.
This is your rebirth.
Affirmation for the New Chapter
“I am whole. I am healing. I am worthy of a love that honours me. I am free to write the story my soul deserves.”
Say it every morning. Say it every night. Say it until it becomes truth in your bones.
Next Steps on Your Healing Journey
1. Let yourself feel everything.
Healing requires honesty. Cry when you need to. Rest when you need to. Speak your truth when you need to.
2. Surround yourself with people who love you.
Connection is medicine. Let others hold you when you cannot hold yourself.
3. Create small moments of beauty.
Walk under the moon. Make tea. Light candles. Play music. Let your nervous system breathe again.
4. Journal your rebirth.
Each day, write one thing you are proud of. One thing you are grateful for. One thing you are healing.
5. Remember that endings are beginnings.
This is not the end of your story. It is the end of a chapter — and you are the author of what comes next.
Closing Reflection
Today, on 10/10/10, I choose myself.
I choose my healing.
I choose my future.
I choose my light.
If you are walking through heartbreak too, know this: You are not alone.
You are not broken.
You are not unlovable.
You are becoming.
You are rising.
You are rewriting your story — one breath, one ritual, one silver‑scripted affirmation at a time.
