Why I Created Calling in the Light

There’s a moment in every mother’s life where she realises she has been giving so much of herself that she can no longer feel her own glow.
Not because she’s done anything wrong.
Not because she’s not strong enough.
But because motherhood is an initiation that asks for everything—your time, your body, your emotions, your identity.
For years, I watched mothers speak about themselves with heaviness.
I saw the way they apologised for needing rest, for wanting space, for craving something that was just theirs.
I saw how easily their inner light dimmed under the weight of expectations, guilt, and the constant pressure to be “on.”
And I knew something needed to change.
This is where Calling in the Light was born.
✨ The Real Reason Behind the Ritual
I created Calling in the Light because I wanted mothers to feel hopeful about themselves again.
To remember that they are more than the roles they carry.
To reconnect with the parts of them that feel radiant, intuitive, powerful, and deeply alive.
I wanted to give mothers a moment—a sacred pause—where they could breathe, soften, and return to their own energy.
So many mothers tell me:
“I don’t feel like myself anymore.”
“I’ve lost my spark.”
“I don’t know who I am outside of being a mum.”
Calling in the Light is my response to that ache.
It’s a ritual designed to help mothers see that their light is not gone—it’s simply waiting to be invited back.
🌙 Why Rituals?
Rituals are powerful because they create meaning out of moments.
They slow us down.
They anchor us.
They remind us that healing doesn’t have to be complicated.
I wanted mothers to know that there are simple, beautiful rituals they can weave into their everyday life—rituals that help them:
shift their energy
reconnect with their intuition
soften emotional overwhelm
feel grounded and centred
remember their worth
Rituals give mothers permission to pause.
To breathe.
To choose themselves again.
🔥 What I Hoped to Create
Behind the scenes, my intention was clear:
I wanted Calling in the Light to feel like a homecoming.
A space where mothers could:
feel seen
feel held
feel hopeful
feel reconnected to their inner glow
I wanted it to be gentle, not demanding.
Nourishing, not overwhelming.
A ritual that mothers could return to again and again—especially on the days when they feel lost, tired, or dimmed.
💛 The Heart of It All
At its core, Calling in the Light is about remembering.
Remembering that:
your light is still there
you are allowed to shine
you deserve emotional renewal
you are more than the roles you carry
you can choose softness, hope, and self‑love
It’s a ritual for mothers who want to feel like themselves again.
A ritual for mothers who are ready to reclaim their radiance.
A ritual for mothers who are tired of feeling invisible in their own lives.
🌟 My Invitation to You
If you’ve ever felt like your light has dimmed…If you’ve ever longed for a moment that feels like a breath of fresh air…If you’re ready to reconnect with the woman beneath the mother…
Calling in the Light was created for you.
This ritual is my love letter to every mother who has forgotten how bright she truly is.
